On Sindoor eve, Army releases list, satellite images of 7 Pakistan terror camps destroyed; Rajnath commends valour of soldiers
NEW DELHI: Ahead of the first anniversary of May 7 Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army has released a list of seven Pakistan terror camps, which were attacked during the operation.The Army identified the terror locations and posted satellite images showing the damage caused during Op Sindoor at each of these seven terror sites in Pakistan and POJK. In a post on X on ADGPI, the Army said the operation was “silent, swift & decisive”. It listed the struck sites as Kotli Abbas, Kotli Gulpur, Mehmoona Joya, Syedna Bilal, Bhimber, Sawai Nala and Sarjal.In the aftermath of the Pahalgam terrorist attack, the armed forces planned a military strike on terrorist camps in Pakistan and POJK. India launched strikes on multiple terror camps on May 7. Rattled by the killing of hundreds of terrorists in Indian strikes, Pakistan launched retaliatory strikes on India, which were effectively neutralised by the Indian defence forces.India used missiles and loitering munitions to target and destroy the terror camp sites. Apart from the terror camps, India also launched attacks on the Pakistani military establishment, including Ghulni military base, Nur Khan airbase in Rawalpindi, 12th Corps headquarters in Quetta and Khwazai Camp in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mohmand Agency.Defence minister Rajnath Singh has paid humble tributes to the defence forces whose unmatched valour & indomitable spirit marked Operation Sindoor as a golden chapter in India’s military history while underscoring PM Modi-led government’s unwavering resolve to eliminate terrorism through decisive action.
